We collect the following information when you use ChargebackWin:

  • Account information: Name and email address from Google Sign-In
  • Order information: Details you enter in the dispute form (order number, amount, dates, evidence)
  • Payment information: Processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store credit card numbers
  • Usage data: Pages visited, form interactions, and device information for analytics

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate chargeback response letters based on your input
  • Process payments and manage your credit balance
  • Send transactional emails (response delivery, account notifications)
  • Improve our templates and scoring accuracy
  • Prevent fraud and abuse of the Service

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Form data is stored temporarily in your browser's localStorage to prevent data loss during form completion. Generated letters and order data are stored in our database.

4. PAN Protection

All text inputs are automatically scanned for credit card numbers (PAN). Any detected card numbers are masked (e.g., ****1234) before storage. We never store complete credit card numbers.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google: Authentication (OAuth 2.0)
  • Supabase: Database hosting
  • Google AI: Text processing (contact summary polishing only; no legal content generation)
  • Payment provider: Payment processing

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Data Retention

Order data and generated letters are retained for 12 months from creation. You may request deletion of your data by emailing scott@chargebackwin.net.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at scott@chargebackwin.net.

9. No Outcome Guarantee

The dispute response letters generated by ChargebackWin are provided as informational templates only. We do not guarantee that any response letter will result in a successful dispute outcome. The final determination of any chargeback dispute is made solely by the issuing bank and/or card network. ChargebackWin is not a law firm, and our Service does not constitute legal advice. 10. Confidentiality of User Data

We treat all information you provide — including dispute details, transaction records, evidence files, and personal identifiers — as strictly confidential. We will never sell, rent, publicly disclose, or share your data with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Access to your data is limited to the minimum necessary to operate the Service (as described in Section 5). All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored in access-controlled environments.

11. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to understand how visitors interact with our website. These cookies collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral source. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral targeting.
